Cressing Temple closure and restricted access days

photo of item

Some days at Cressing Temple there is restricted access because of private functions, or admission charges (it's usually free) because of public events. Tiptree Tea Rooms remain open and free to enter. In the days leading up to events, there may be heavy vehicles moving around the site, so views may be restricted.

When the site is completely closed to the public, this is done for health and safety reasons whilst event structures are being erected/dismantled and there is a lot of vehicle movement on site. The Tiptree Tea Room however remains open.
