Opening times
The park is open daily from 8:00am till dusk. (please check car park for details of closing times)
The refreshment kiosk is open Weekends and School Holidays.

By car
Follow the B1025 for 10 miles south of Colchester and Mersea Island and take the left hand fork to East Mersea for three miles. The country park is at the end of Bromans Lane. The route is well signposted.

About this property

Cudmore Grove offers visitors a trip to the seaside with a difference. Located at the eastern end of Mersea Island, the park includes a sandy beach backed by a large expanse of open grassland, perfect for summer games, picnics and taking in the views. An addition in the summer is the passenger ferry to and from Brightlingsea. Visitors can also walk along the sea wall or explore the remains of the Tudor fort and World War 2 defences.
